DETECTIVE DRAMA
The Dalgliesh Mysteries,, 9pm,p, Ch5 THROUGH the 1980s and 1990s, Roy Marsden made the role of Inspector Adam Dalgliesh his own in ten TV adaptations of P.D. James’s novels. The solitary detective made a comeback last year, with Bertie Carvel (pictured) ditching Marsden’s trademark moustache, butut keeping the quiet demeanour, the lone-wolf prowl and the soul of a poet. This is a repeat ahead of Carvel’s return for new episodes next year.
