IN A gleaming golden breastplate, Olivia Wilde almost appears to be dropping hints at Oscars judges by evoking one of the prized statuettes.
The actress-turned-director, 38, wore the impressive gladiatorial piece over a black maxi dress at the premiere of the film Women Talking in Beverly Hills on Thursday.
She’s not the only one strapping on her armour. Euphoria actress Sydney Sweeney, 25, turned heads with a chrome breastplate at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London on Wednesday. And Dune star Zendaya, 26, wore a pink breastplate of her own in 2020.
Women Talking tells the story of abuse in a religious community. Miss Wilde, girlfriend of Harry Styles, was not involved in the movie, but has presented feminist themes in her films.
