Did Ukraine hit Russian gas pipeline?
AN ENORMOUS explosion hit one of Russia’s major gas pipelines on Saturday, sending flames and smoke billowing into the sky.
The fireball was visible for miles after the pipeline exploded 14 miles east of St Petersburg. A source pinned the blame on Ukraine, adding: ‘Everything is automatic there, and such explosions by themselves, without external influence, are impossible.’
The gas industry’s Telegram channel Gaz Batyushka said: ‘It is possible this was a terrorist attack.’
