That’s amazing!

DO YOU remember at school when the english teacher made us write essays or describe events without using the word ‘nice’?

I’d like a teacher to set a similar exercise for Tv presenters today, who sprinkle their sentences with ‘amazing’ like confetti.

In all the works of shakespeare, the word ‘amazing’ appears only once ( spoken by John of Gaunt in henry II). If Will were alive now, he’d be throwing bricks at the Tv set.
