Medicine mayhem

-

IN HOSPITAL, at 8am I was told I could go home that day once the pharmacy had delivered my medication. at 3pm, I was still bed-blocking.

at 3.30pm, I was told it might take three more hours. When I learned what the medicine was — 75mg aspirin — I discharged myself and bought some in the village pharmacy instead.

I am a community pharmacist and if my pharmacy took that long to dispense one item, the shop would probably go out of business.
