Mini mistake

THE story about the barrister who went to newport in Wales rather than newport on the Isle of Wight (Mail) reminded me of when I was at a classic Mini show at stanford hall in lutterworth, leicestershire.

I overheard a conversation about someone who’d been unable to find the show and couldn’t see any Minis anywhere. They had mistakenly gone to stamford, in lincolnshire.
