GREENWOOD TRIAL DATE SET FOR 12 MONTHS’ TIME
MASON GREENWOOD’S trial over allegations of attempted rape, assault, and controlling and coercive behaviour is not expected to take place for another year. The Manchester United player was re-bailed until a pre-trial hearing on February 10 when he appeared at Minshull Street Crown Court yesterday. The trial is scheduled for November 27 next year and is expected to last 10 days.
The 21-year-old has not played for United or trained at the club since he was suspended following his arrest in January.
