FORTERRA warned it would raise prices for the fourth time within a year.

Following increases in January and April, the building products manufacturer hiked most of its brick prices by a further 16.5pc in October. This helped revenue soar 23pc in the ten months to October.

Now Forterra wants to pass on further costs to customers from the new year. The firm also said Neil Ash will replace Stephen Harrison as chief executive next April. Shares fell 4.6pc, or 10p, to 210p.
