Tindall has last laugh as Matt suffers rat ordeal

WHAT goes around comes around – and karma came for Matt Hancock after he mocked his I’m A Celeb campmate.

The former health secretary, 44, was forced to brave a cage full of rats and spiders after poking fun at Mike Tindall in his latest Bushtucker Trial.

Tindall had to answer a series of questions, buying time for Mr Hancock to piece together gold stars. But if the rugby ace answered them wrong he was dunked in a tank of water – causing Mr Hancock to quip: ‘Elegantly done’.

Tindall, who is married to Princess Anne’s daughter Zara, was asked kd what ht a collection ll ti of f spiders are called to which he incorrectly answered ‘clan’.

Other questions included the name for a male rat, which he wrongly thought was a ‘ stud’, meaning he was promptly dropped into the water. But, in an ant-themed round, he correctly named presenter Ant McPartlin’s birthplace and, in a question on rats, he correctly identified Disney film Ratatouille as a ratthemed movie.

The duo successfully managed to secure four out of five stars – equating to four portions of food for the camp.

The West Suffolk MP sparked a backlash after it was revealed he would be taking part in the ITV series but is now one of the favourites to win. Speaking to his fellow campmates – including footballer Jill Scott, actor Owen Warner and comedian Seann Walsh – he said last night: ‘We’re so near the end and I’m delighted to be still here. I never thought I’d make it to the final five and here I am, so I’m very grateful.’ The I’m A Celeb final will air tomorrow.
