GET YOUR MOWER SERVICED BEFORE THE SPRING RUSH

-

PETROL-DRIVEN lawn mowers benefit from an annual service. If you want that done by a mower specialist, now is a good time. Later this month there may be a rush, especially if the weather warms up a little and grass begins to revive and grow. If your mower doesn’t need a service, make sure there’s no stale petrol left in the tank.

Petrol now has a shorter life than it did years ago. If left idle for months, engines can be almost impossible to start. You can prevent that by draining the tank after your last autumn cut. You can also improve engine performance by using alkylate petrol.

It’s expensive, but if used for the season’s first cut, your mower should run smoothly from the start.
