BRENTFORD SEAL LOAN SIGNING OF BECKHAM JUNIOR

■ BRENTFORD have completed the loan signing of Romeo Beckham on loan from Inter Miami. The 20-year-old son of former England captain David will play for Brentford’s B team until the end of the season.

■ CHELSEA want reassurances that Mykhailo Mudryk wishes to join them before engaging in an auction with Arsenal for the Shakhtar Donetsk winger, 22. Arsenal are reluctant to pay over the odds after offering up to £62million and believe they are Mudryk’s preference. Chelsea have also asked about Spain’s RB Leipzig winger Dani Olmo, 24, and France forward Marcus Thuram, 25, of Borussia Monchengladbach.

■ ARSENAL have held further talks to try to lower the loan fee Atletico Madrid want for Joao Felix, 23.

■ ASTON VILLA are pushing to complete a £12m deal for Real Betis left back Alex Moreno, 29, who almost joined Nottingham Forest in the summer. NANTES are one of several clubs keen on Villa midfielder Morgan Sanson.
