Clarkson ‘shuts his farm cafe’
JEREMY Clarkson has reportedly shut a restaurant on his Diddly Squat farm after being given an enforcement notice from the council.
The ex-Top Gear presenter opened the pizza cafe last July but Oxfordshire residents complained it caused traffic jams.
Despite a row with the council, Clarkson, 62, used a ‘loophole’ that allowed him to avoid planning laws on the site. The farm in Chadlington was made famous by an Amazon Prime series.
But he admitted defeat to West Oxfordshire District Council last week, the Daily Mirror reported. Clarkson and the council were approached for comment.
