OBESITY is linked with reduced semen quality, but a new study shows that this can be reversed by losing weight, reports the journal Human Reproduction. Around 50 men followed a low-calorie diet for eight weeks and lost an average of 16.5kg. This in turn increased sperm concentration by 50 per cent and sperm count by 40 per cent.
