Oven-roasted spiced chickpeas

MAKES 4 PORTIONS
• 1 tbsp white miso paste
• ½ tsp sweet smoked paprika
• 1 tsp garlic granules
• 1 x 400g tin chickpeas drained (approx 240g drained weight)
• 1 tbsp olive oil
PREHEAT the oven to 180c/160c fan/gas 4 and line a baking tray with parchment paper. Combine the miso paste, paprika and garlic in a medium bowl, and season with a pinch of salt and plenty of freshly ground black pepper. Add the chickpeas and olive oil and stir to coat. Spread the chickpeas over the baking tray and roast in the oven for about 30 minutes, or until browning lightly. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
