Pandering to Harry

-

WHY do we continue to pander to this once fun and exhilarating young man who has become a shadow of his former self?

How upsetting this whole matter must have been for the Queen in the final years of her life.

It appears no one is exempt from Harry’s fury and it is noticeable that he refuses to take responsibility or blame for any situation at any time. He has become sad, sulky and sinister.

But it is the hypocrisy that most people find so hard to bear. He told us he had chosen to leave his country, family and friends for a quiet, peaceful life — yet has opted to be very much in the media spotlight.

If no one shows any more interest, I’m sure he will soon put a sock in it and we’ll all be grateful.

L. GADSBY, Truro, Cornwall. MY HEART bleeds for King Charles. Having lost his parents, he has to contend with the spiteful pettymindedness of his son.

Harry was given every advantage a young Prince could wish for.

Sitting in his mansion in Montecito, perhaps he could contemplate how we in Britain are coping with the cost of living crisis.

PENELOPE SLINGSBY,

Shipley, W. Yorks.
