WHAT business is it of Laura Kuenssberg’s whether Rishi Sunak has private medical insurance?

Does she really think he or his staff have time to ring an NHS GP surgery to be told ‘You are 15th in the queue’ and that the doctor will ring back in two days? The Prime Minister is running the country for goodness’ sake.

I hope Laura asks Sir Keir Starmer if he and other members of the Shadow Cabinet have private medical care — especially the MPs who send their children to private schools.

He could have replied: ‘Yes, because I can afford it. Furthermore, it frees up more valuable space for NHS patients.’ But how many politicians can answer a simple question with a yea or nay?
