Johnny Vegas: I’ve got ADHD

Johnny Vegas has been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder after Sue Perkins suggested he get tested.

Vegas, 52, pictured, told BBC Breakfast that his diagnosis ‘answers a lot of questions about behavioural issues’ he has had. he said: ‘It helps make sense of a lot of things at school.’

ADhD is a behavioural condition that often results in trouble concentrating, restlessness, and impulsiveness. It affects 3 to 4 per cent of adults in the UK.

Vegas said Miss Perkins persuaded him to seek a diagnosis after getting her own, which she revealed on Twitter on Sunday.

The former Great British Bake off presenter, 53, wrote: ‘once I had the diagnosis, suddenly everything made sense.’
