Freeze on tuition fees for 2 years

-

TUITION fees will be frozen at £9,250 for the next two years in response to ‘costof-living pressures’.

And the maximum student loans for living costs will rise by 2.8 per cent in 2023/24 in England as part of a £15million boost to help struggling students.

Robert Halfon, minister for skills, apprenticeships and higher education, said: ‘Today we are making a one-off reallocation of funding – this extra funding will complement the help universities are providing through their own, bursary, scholarship and hardship support schemes.’
