TODAY’S RECIPE: Vegetarian ramen
JAPANESE noodle dish. Serves: 1. Ingredients
80g pack of instant noodles 2 spring onions, chopped
½ head pak choi 1 egg
1 tsp sesame seeds
Method
1 Cook noodles with sachet of flavouring provided or use stock. Add spring onions and pak choi for final minute.
2 Meanwhile, boil water in a pan, then simmer egg for six minutes. Run under cold water and then peel. Toast sesame seeds in a frying pan. 3 Tip noodles, greens and stock into a bowl, halve boiled egg and place on top. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, drizzle with sauce or sesame oil provided with noodles, and chilli sauce.
