FOXES HUNTING £25m FIORENTINA STAR GONZALEZ
■ LEICESTER CITY have enquired about Fiorentina and Argentina midfielder Nicolas Gonzalez, 24, who is valued at more than £25million. Brendan Rodgers is prioritising signing a winger.
■ CHELSEA are in talks with AC Milan to cancel Tiemoue Bakayoko’s loan. The Blues are willing to let the 28-year-old leave on a free. He cost the club £35m from Monaco in 2017.
■ MANCHESTER UNITED winger Facundo Pellistri will hold talks with manager Erik ten Hag amid loan enquiries from Valencia and Watford.
■ MANCHESTER CITY may recall Liam Delap, 19, from his loan at Stoke City amid interest from other clubs.
■ ASTON VILLA have asked about Marseille midfielder Matteo Guendouzi, 23. He worked with Villa boss Unai Emery at Arsenal, who are understood to have a sell-on clause. Villa midfielder Morgan Sanson, 28, is wanted on loan by Montpellier. Villa have confirmed the signing of left back Alex Moreno, 29, from Real Betis for £12.5m.
■ TOTTENHAM will not take up an option to extend Lucas Moura’s contract. The Brazilian, 30, is keen to assess his options as a free agent in the summer. Spurs are still in talks with Sporting Lisbon for Pedro Porro and remain interested in Brighton’s Leandro Trossard.
■ WOLVES are closing on an £8.5m deal for Nice midfielder Mario Lemina, 29. Wolves have also asked about Bristol City’s highly rated midfielder Alex Scott, 19, but his £20m price tag is deemed excessive. Wolves continue to pursue West Ham defender Craig Dawson but have revived their interest in Atletico Madrid centre back Felipe, 33.
■ SOUTHAMPTON have confirmed the signing of midfielder Carlos Alcaraz, 20, from Racing Club for £12.5m.
■ MIDDLESBROUGH have expressed interest in Luzern midfielder Ardon Jashari, 20.
■ BOURNEMOUTH midfielder Emiliano Marcondes, 27, has moved on loan to Danish side FC Nordsjaelland. Cherries forward Jamal Lowe, 28, has completed a medical at QPR ahead of joining on loan.
