YOU might well think we’ve had enough of post-apocalyptic dramas, but HBO’s big new nineparter puts forward a really good case for the defence, creating such a fully visualised world for its survivors to wander that it’s hard not to just sit there and marvel. There’s strong acting, too, with The Mandalorian’s Pedro Pascal as a tough, grieving man charged with protecting a teenager (British actress Bella Ramsey) who is immune to the world-ending virus.
