I THOROUGHLY enjoyed Matt Ridley’s article on reasons to be optimistic about the future of our planet. What a contrast to TV’s Frozen Planet II.

Despite the beautiful images, David Attenborough’s commentary was doom and gloom about walruses and polar bears.
