Kohli on song as India scale record heights

INDIA recorded the biggest win in a one-day internatio­nal after thrashing Sri Lanka by 317 runs in Thiruvanan­thapuram, with Virat Kohli putting on a batting masterclas­s and Mohammed Siraj excelling with the ball. The win completed a 3-0 series sweep for India, who won the first match in Guwahati by 67 runs and the second in Kolkata by four wickets. Kohli hit an unbeaten 166, smashing 13 fours and eight sixes in 110 balls. Shubman Gill also hit 116 as the home side reached 390 for five. Siraj then picked up four for 32 and Mohammed Shami and Kuldeep Yadav took two wickets each as Sri Lanka were bowled out for 73.
