Shadow of Brexit

THE problem that Britain faces is that most of our politicians don’t have any experience of governing.

For decades we were, in effect, run by Brussels, with Westminster rubber-stamping the rules and regulations that were forced upon us.

Today’s politicians, the majority of whom were not even born when we last self-governed, are trying to please all of the people all of the time.

They are afraid of saying what needs to be done and tend to pander to minority groups. What’s required is strong leadership.
