TODAY’S RECIPE: Pasta with salmon & peas

SATISFYING family dinner. Serves: 4 Ingredient­s

240g fusilli Knob of butter 1 large shallot, chopped

140g frozen peas 2 skinless salmon fillets, in chunks 140g creme fraiche ½ stock cube Small bunch of chives, snipped

Method

1 Bring a pan of water to boil and cook pasta according to pack instructio­ns. Meanwhile, heat butter in a saucepan, add shallot and cook for five minutes until softened.

2 Add peas, salmon, creme fraiche and 50ml water. Crumble in ½ stock cube. Cook for three minutes until warmed through. Stir in chives and black pepper, then serve in bowls.
