EARLIEST HOLIDAY MEMORY?
A DAY trip to Camber Sands in East Sussex, with Mum and Dad. I was full of energy as a kid, loved paddling, building sand castles and eating Calippo ice lollies.
FIRST TRIP ABROAD?
LANZAROTE on a family holiday as a child. I went up the side of a volcano by camel.
FAVOURITE WINTER OLYMPIC DESTINATION?
I EXPLORED Seoul after competing in the 2018 Olympics in South Korea. A highlight was a cat cafe where you drink tea, surrounded felines. The food markets are amazing. I ate veggie tofu with kimchi.
THE BEST EUROPEAN SKI RESORT?
AUSTRIA’S Tyrol where you can buy one lift ticket and use it in many resorts. Tyrolean food may be a little heavy but it’s great once in a while. Who doesn’t love a Kaiserschmarrn [sweet pancake] at 2,000m?
FAVOURITE U.S. SKI RESORT?
MAMMOTH Mountain in California. The surrounding pine trees are beautiful, and you can combine snowboarding with a dip in the local hot springs. Perfect after a long day on the mountain.
ARE YOU A GOOD FLYER?
YES, and I prefer long to short-haul flights as you can put your feet up and enjoy a podcast and a film.
TOP TRAVEL BEAUTY TIP?
BABY wipes so you can freshen up mid-journey. Also extra underwear.
CAN’T TRAVEL WITHOUT?
MY sports bra and trainers so I can go for a run. I love to stay energised.
DREAM DESTINATION? RIGHT now, it’s Thailand.
AIMEE’S book Fear Less Live More is out now; her podcast Monday Mile is on all audio platforms.
