ZUBIMENDI HAPPY TO MAKE GUNNERS WAIT UNTIL THE SUMMER

ARSENAL are considering a move for Martin Zubimendi but the Spain midfielder does not wish to leave Real Sociedad this month. Zubimendi, 23, has a £52.5million release clause and Arsenal are willing to pay it. His agents were in London on Friday for talks but Sociedad are Zubimendi’s boyhood club and they stand third in La Liga, so any deal is likely to be shelved for now. Arsenal are continuing talks over a move for Real Valladolid right back Ivan Fresneda. The 18-year-old also had interest from Newcastle but they are now back on the trail of West Ham right back Harrison Ashby, 21.
