Stop moaning, Harry, life’s what you make of it
WhY is Prince harry so miserable about his life?
I am one of triplets and when we were seven, along with our older sister, we were sent to live in a Barnardo’s home. We never saw our parents again.
We were smacked and punished for every little misdemeanour, but that was how things were done then. We had to adhere to strict rules and there was no privacy: we even had to leave the bathroom door open. It was sad for us and hard at times, but we just got on with it instead of complaining. We appreciated being taught to knit, sew, cook, clean and get on with others. There were fun times and we got up to lots of mischief. We looked so alike that we ended
up being extras in a film and backing singers for Ronnie hilton — heavens knows why, as none of us could sing — and appeared in an ad for Spangles. We swapped boyfriends without them knowing! The work ethic learned at the home meant we went on to have great careers and be independent. Life is what you make of it.
