LEEDS EXPLORE McKENNIE LOAN AS HARRISON WEIGHS UP HIS OPTIONS

■ LEEDS are looking at a deal for Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie. The USA international, 24, is available on loan with an obligation to buy. They have also stayed in touch with the agents of Angers midfielder Azzedine Ounahi. Leeds winger Jack Harrison has attracted interest from Leicester but the 26-year-old, who has been on Newcastle’s radar, may wait until the summer to assess his options.

■ LEICESTER have been rebuffed their bid to sign Nico Gonzalez from Fiorentina and a loan for Atalanta’s Jeremie Boga has been discussed, but he is back in their line-up. Tete, on loan at Lyon from Shakhtar Donetsk, is another target.

■ NEWCASTLE will consider offers for Allan Saint-Maximin should they finalise a deal for Everton’s Anthony Gordon. A number of Premier League clubs have already enquired about Saint-Maximin, 25.

■ CHELSEA are making an improved bid of £30million for Lyon right back Malo Gusto, but the French club want to take back the 19-year-old on loan.
