Jude’s now a dad of seven... with 4 women
IT’S a role he’s been playing for nearly thirty years, with an ever-increasing cast of characters.
And that cast has grown once more – as proud father Jude Law adds another to his brood with the birth of his seventh child.
The actor, 50, was spotted out with his new baby and wife Phillipa Coan, with whom he has another child.
Law married environmental behaviour change consultant Ms Coan, 35, in a low-key ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall in 2019, and the couple welcomed their first child together in September 2020. The pair are yet to reveal the sex and names of either child.
The Talented Mr Ripley star already has sons Rafferty, 26, and Rudy, 20, and model daughter Iris, 22, with his first wife Sadie Frost, who he divorced in 2003.
He is also father to daughter Sophia, 13, with model Samantha Burke and Ada, seven, with singer Catherine Harding, also known as Cat Cavelli. The Alfie actor previously spoke about becoming a father for the sixth time on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2020.
‘It’s really wonderful,’ he said shortly after the birth.
Speaking about his family expanding during the pandemic, he said: ‘We feel pretty blessed that we could just nest and enjoy each other’s company every day as it came.
‘It was an unusual but a kind of enforced love-in.’
Law was famously engaged to actress Sienna Miller, but the couple split in 2006 after he had an affair with his children’s nanny.
Law and Ms Coan are rarely pictured together in public and have maintained a level of privacy that Law previously said was the reason their relationship ‘works so well’.
‘She’s mine and no one else’s. I’m very, very happy,’ he told Modern Luxury. ‘A large part of that is the fact that she’s a very private person. And our relationship is a very private thing, and I think part of the reason it works so well is exactly because of that.’
