United bidders braced for response

BIDDERS to buy manchester United are expecting to hear an update this week from those running the process. Sportsmail understands that the raine Group, overseeing the sale, are set to reach out to those who submitted offers in the coming days. This comes after another rough day for the club’s share price. The figure rocketed when Sportsmail revealed a bid from Qatar was coming. But after reports that owners the Glazers are considering remaining in control, the price had dropped by 13 per cent at one stage yesterday.
