Cyber threats are ‘growing’

CYBER attacks targeting workers are increasing, and Chinalinked hackers are on the rise, a security report has revealed.

Experts from CrowdStrike said the amount of adverts on the dark web linked to personal identity data had more than doubled in the past year. They had also seen more cases of hackers tricking employees into handing over their log-in details to carry out an attack.

Adam Meyers, from the cybersecurity firm, said: ‘Today’s threat actors are smarter, more sophisticated, and more well resourced than they have ever been in the history of cybersecurity.’
