Despairing for justice
READING reports about Robert Brown’s killing of his wife Joanna Simpson (Mail), I despair of our so-called justice system.
how this brutal crime was deemed manslaughter with the premeditation that went into taking a hammer to Joanna and placing her body in a pre-dug grave is astounding.
As usual, the victim’s parents and loved ones are those with the real life sentence.
hopefully, thousands of people will write to their MPs, backing the calls from Joanna’s mother and the Mail for Brown not to be released after serving only 13 years of his 26-year sentence. I have written to mine, huw Merriman.
