SKY SPORTS STRIKE DEAL FOR FIRST WOMEN’S IPL
SKY SPORTS have bought the live TV rights for India’s inaugural Women’s Premier League in another significant breakthrough for the sport. The five-team tournament begins on Saturday with a clash between the Gujarat Giants and Mumbai Indians, with England’s Sophia Dunkley, Nat Sciver-Brunt and Issy Wong set to feature in the opening game. Sky will televise all 22 matches, from Saturday to the final on March 26.
