TURN YOUR CAR INTO CAMPERVAN FOR A NIGHT
IF YOU’RE exhausted after a long drive, value-for-money car maker Dacia has got just the solution — a new in-car mobile bed accessory that turns a family motor into a cut-price campervan.
It’s just been launched for its versatile seven-seat Jogger SUV.
The new ‘Sleep Pack’ turns the Jogger’s spacious rear interior into a bedroom for two in a matter of minutes.
Expected to be priced from around £1,300 when it goes on sale in spring, the clever unpackable bed system can be set-up unassisted in less than two minutes, and requires only the removal of the third-row seats of the Jogger, which costs from £17,145.
It also features a 220-litre storage box near the rear hatchback that can be accessed whether the double bed is folded or unfolded.
The Romanian car-maker, the budget arm of France’s Renault group, says the whole pack weighs less than 50kg, making it ‘effortless to remove’.
Even when set-up with its 190cm x 130cm mattress, it still offers 60cm of headroom.
Dacia said the Sleep Pack and other InNature accessories will be available to order at the same time as a new Dacia Jogger or can be added separately at any time. It is compatible with all Dacia Jogger trim levels.
