EDOUARD MENDY
hopes to get the all-clear to resume full training within the next fortnight. The Chelsea goalkeeper has been sidelined since the start of the year after breaking his finger in training, a setback that required an operation in France.
He has been able to take part in light training and hopes to be able to rejoin Graham Potter’s first-team squad soon. Mendy has hardly featured since Potter was appointed manager in September, with a shoulder problem and then the broken finger limiting him to five games. In his absence Kepa Arrizabalaga has taken over as first choice.
