Forest fight to keep Cooper
NOTTINGHAM FOREST are facing a battle to keep manager Steve Cooper at the club next season. Cooper has built a reputation as one of the country’s best young coaches and his work is attracting interest from rival clubs.
A number of Premier League managerial jobs — Tottenham, Chelsea, West Ham, Southampton and Leeds — could all come up at the end of the season and Sportsmail understands Cooper is being considered for them. Brighton may also be on the lookout amid growing interest in their boss Roberto De Zerbi. Former Swansea manager Cooper found himself under pressure earlier in the campaign after a tough start at Forest, but has emerged as a manager of the season candidate after turning things around.
He signed a new contract earlier this season that runs until 2025.
