QUADRUPLE BONANZA FOR UNITED PLAYERS

- By CRAIG HOPE and CHRIS WHEELER

MANCHESTER UNITED’S players will land close to half a million pounds each in bonuses should they complete a quadruple. Stars such as Marcus Rashford and Casemiro have already earned around £65,000 as reward for Sunday’s victory in the Carabao Cup final. Sportsmail has been told that there will be further incentives of £85,000 per man for each of the FA Cup and Europa League. United are in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup and last 16 of the Europa League.

But the biggest bonus would be £250,000 were they to make up the 11-point deficit on Premier League leaders Arsenal and win their first title in 10 years. That would take the total to £485,000 per player if victorious on all fronts. Given the resurgence under Erik ten Hag, a cup treble is a real possibility, especially as the first is already in the bag following the 2-0 win over Newcastle. United are favourites for the Europa League and second favourites behind Manchester City for the FA Cup. They also have a game in hand on City and Arsenal in the League and the players would still be set for a sizeable portion of £250,000 if they finish in the top four.
