WhY do the younger generation need trigger warnings about ‘inappropriate’ behaviour in classic literature when there is so much graphic violence on TV?

In one evening’s viewing I witnessed scenes of throats being cut, violent beatings administered and eyes gouged out.

It seems woke individuals need safe spaces to recover from hansel and Gretel, yet TV companies treat us to close-ups of extreme barbarity.

There seem to be no complaints about Game Of Thrones, yet we must be protected from noddy and the Famous Five.
