Falklands threat
We SHOULD be very concerned that argentina has withdrawn from the co-operation pact signed in 2016.
The reason is clear: our military is so weak that argentina can see its chance to once again claim the Falkland Islands and there would be little we could do about it.
The Government has allowed our armed Forces to fall below the number that could defend us in any meaningful way.
James Cleverly, the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development affairs and an army reserve officer, appears to be the only politician who has voiced this concern.
nest week’s Budget may be a lastditch opportunity to put this right.
