I LOOK after my six-year-old grandson Henry after school. I asked before giving him his tea: ‘What did you have for lunch at school today?’ ‘pigs in blankets,’ he replied. this seemed odd, so I asked: ‘How many did you have?’ ‘Only one,’ was the reply. ‘Only one?’

‘Well, it was a big one,’ Henry explained.

My husband asked, jokingly, if it wasn’t a sausage roll. Smacking his forehead and raising his eyes, Henry replied: ‘Duh, it WaS a sausage roll!’
