Honours insult

BORIS JOHNSON is said to be nominating his father for a knighthood in his resignation honours.

What has stanley ever done to deserve that title? That’s nepotism beyond all belief and further confirms how corrupt and disreputable the honours system has become in recent years.

Isn’t there anything that can be done to stop this?

WHEN I heard Keir starmer sounding off about Boris Johnson putting his father up for a knighthood, I thought: ‘What a hypocrite!’ He has conveniently forgotten that Tony Blair received a knighthood against public opinion.

Blair took us into an illegal war and I hold him responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent people.

Whatever Boris Johnson did, he’s a saint by comparison.
