BILIC OUT, WILDER IN AT WATFORD
CHRIS WILDER has taken over as Watford manager until the end of the season following Slaven Bilic’s sacking yesterday after just six months in charge. The Croat lost his job after a run of just one win in eight matches and is the Hornets’ second managerial casualty of the season, after Rob Edwards was axed in September. Wilder had been out of work since leaving Middlesbrough in October, but has signed a deal until the end of the season. Watford are ninth in the Championship, four points off the play-off places. Their next match is at QPR on Saturday.
