At what point are senior leadership in the Home Office willing to state that breaking international law is not consistent with the civil service code or our values and that we as staff should not be expected to do so in our work?

I have never been so embarrassed and ashamed to work for the department I once loved. Time to move on!

I am finding it increasingly difficult to reconcile both our stated civil service values and my own personal ethical convictions with the rhetoric and policies that the Home Secretary is pursuing

They claim to value us and our hard work, but we don't get consulted on any of these decisions, even though we're making them happen and our pay remains stagnant. What can we do about any of this short of quitting?
