Sheridan’s playful Scouse pride

SHERIDAN SMITH is clearly immersing herself in the title role of the Liverpudlian housewife in Willy Russell’s play Shirley Valentine.

The Lincolnshire-born actress, 41, was spotted wearing a pair of earrings with the words ‘Scouse Bird’ on them as she left the Duke Of York’s Theatre in London’s West End, where she will be performing in the onewoman show until early June.

The £22 silver hoops are thought to be from The Scouse Bird Shop.
