Lost cause

HATS off to Rishi Sunak for trying to resolve the migration problem.

However, I fear his plan is doomed. The human rights lobby will attempt to block or reverse the new Bill.

Border Force is not robust enough to police the channel.

Other European countries are unwilling or unable to help and see us as a dumping ground.

Traffickers and lawyers who defend migrants are making too much money to stop.

The Prime Minister is fighting a lost cause until we are no longer bound by the European convention on Human Rights and are free to make and enforce our own laws.
