■ BRITISH viewers may see a familiar face on stage if The Boy, The Mole, The Fox And The Horse gets an Oscar for best animated short — legendary PR man Matthew Freud is the producer.

Freud, 59, helped to turn Charlie Mackesy’s best-selling book into a charming film and was at the Oscar nominees’ lunch in a natty sky-blue suit. His marriage to Elisabeth Murdoch broke down in 2014 after it emerged that he had fathered a child with a mutual friend.
