HOW ABOUT SOME BLUEBERRIES?
WHAT could be nicer than picking blueberries for breakfast? March is a good time to plant a bush. If you have acidic soil, plant directly into the ground, but if not don’t worry as blueberries grow well in containers of ericaceous compost. Choose a variety with the RHS Award of Garden Merit such as Vaccinium corymbosum ‘Duke’ which has creamy white flowers, followed by fruits in mid to late summer. In a pot, your plant will need feeding from April to September. Keep well watered.
