■ CENKOS Securities sank into the red after capital raisings dried up and companies delayed plans to come to market last year. The stockbroker said 2022 was a ‘poor year for UK equities’ as AIM suffered its lowest levels of activity for almost two decades. Investor confidence was battered by soaring inflation, rising energy costs, interest rate hikes and the war in Ukraine. Cenkos saw its revenue slump 46pc to £20.3m in 2022. Shares fell 19.1pc, or 10p, to 42.5p.
