JORDAN HENDERSON and James Milner are investing in a leisure club in Cheshire devoted to padel, the fast-growing racket sport best described as a hybrid of tennis and squash. the Liverpool midfielders were introduced to padel by Jurgen Klopp on a training camp in tenerife, with the manager so taken by the sport that he insisted upon a court being installed at the club’s training ground. Padel matches are now a regular occurrence among Liverpool’s squad, which has led Henderson and Milner to invest in the Padel Club in Handforth, along with former Everton players Joleon Lescott and Gareth Barry.
